Madonna denies marriage split reports
Singer Madonna has denied reports which claim that her marriage to film director Guy Ritchie is in trouble.
The reports, which have been circulating in the media for several weeks, were further fuelled last week when Ritchie failed to appear at Madonna's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
However, Madonna's US spokesperson, Liz Rosenberg, has denied rumours of a split, saying: "I am delighted to confirm that Mr and Mrs Guy Ritchie remain happily married."
She continued: "Though they were in different countries recently - Madonna in the US doing promotion for her upcoming album 'Hard Candy' and Guy finishing up post-production on his new film 'RocknRolla' as well as completing a Nike commercial and working on several scripts in England - the family are joyfully back together at home in London. All is well and wonderful in the Ritchie household."

The record album The Mouse and the Mask found their talents interlock much better than seemed possible from the awkward charge. The Danger Doom project actually coalesced 18 months prior to the album's release, when the two agreed to begin running together via mail, with help on vocals from the toon characters of Cartoon Network's Grownup Swim shows. The long gestation full stop proved worthwhile when the album in the end appeared on Epitaph in October 2005.
